Special Category:

• Net Equity: A minimum of 2 million Dirhams is required to demonstrate financial stability for the business.
• ISO Certification: ISO 9001 certification must be obtained, indicating compliance with quality standards.
• Occupational Health and Safety: There are currently no occupational safety requirements, allowing for greater flexibility.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance: Insurance coverage of 2 million Dirhams per year is necessary, with 200,000 Dirhams per accident, without a limit on claims.
• Minimum Classified Activities: At least 2 activities classified in the Special Category must be actively pursued to establish expertise.
• Bidding Limit: No limits exist on the value of projects that can be bid for.

First Category:

• Net Equity: An equity amount of 1 million Dirhams is required to support the business.
• ISO Certification: ISO 9001 certification must also be acquired to maintain quality assurance.
• Occupational Health and Safety: There are no current safety regulations upfront, simplifying the initial setup process.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance: The necessary insurance is set at 1 million Dirhams annually, covering 100,000 Dirhams per accident without limits on occurrences.
• Minimum Classified Activities: A minimum of 2 activities classified in the First Category is needed to demonstrate a variety of services.
• Bidding Limit: Companies can bid on projects valued up to 100 million AED.

Second Category:

• Net Equity: No net equity is required, making establishment easier for businesses.
• ISO Certification: No ISO certification is needed at the start of operations.
• Occupational Health and Safety: No safety requirements exist right away, easing initial complexities.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance: The required insurance stands at 500,000 Dirhams annually, with 50,000 Dirhams per accident and no limits on claims.
• Minimum Classified Activities: Companies must have at least 1 activity classified in the Second Category.
• Bidding Limit: Organizations can engage in projects worth up to 30 million AED.
