  • Transitional Period: According to the transitional agreement, authorities have provided a grace period. Businesses have until December 31, 2024, to acquire their new ADGM licences.
  • Post-Transition Implications: Come January 1, 2025, ADDED licenses will no longer be valid for operating within Al Reem Island. Businesses that fail to obtain an ADGM license by the deadline will face potential legal ramifications.
  • New business: A person who wants to start a new business in Al Reem after November 1, 2023. They have to get their license and registration work from ADGM only, not ADDED.
